Concluding StatementsThe 11th Annual Meeting of the South East Asia National Human Rights Insitutions Forum (SEANF)

The Southeast Asia National Human Rights Institutions Forum (SEANF), comprising the National Human Rights Commission of Indonesia (Komnas HAM), Malaysia’s SUHAKAM, Myanmar’s MNHRC, the Philippines’ CHRP, Thailand’s NHRCT, and Timor-Leste’s PDHJ, convened its 11th Annual Meeting in Bali, Indonesia, from 6-7 November 2014.

Meeting Objectives:
• Strengthen regional cooperation in line with the 2007 Bali Declaration
• Enhance collaboration with international human rights bodies
• Finalize SEANF’s Strategic Plan and Permanent Secretariat framework

The meeting featured valuable contributions from Independent Expert Dr. Nur Hassan Wirajuda. SEANF members expressed gratitude to Komnas HAM for their excellent hosting and organizational efforts.

This gathering reinforced SEANF’s commitment to advancing human rights protection across Southeast Asia through institutional collaboration and strategic planning.
