The National Human Rights Commission of Thailand (NHRCT), serving as the current Chair of the Southeast Asia National Human Rights Institutions Forum (SEANF), organized the first Technical Working Group (TWG) Meeting of the SEANF on February 15-16, 2018, in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The meeting saw participation from representatives of five SEANF member institutions: the National Human Rights Commission of Indonesia (Komnas HAM), the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM), the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission (MNHRC), the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines (CHRP), and the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand (NHRCT). The Provedoria for Human Rights and Justice of Timor-Leste (PDHJ) was unable to attend due to the political situation in the country at the time.
